A five-year-old child named Suraiya Begum has been died in a collision of CNG auto-rickshaw in Beanibazar municipality. The accident took place at around 4:30 pm on Wednesday (December 18th) in front of the Municipal Police Station. The driver of the CNG autorickshaw was also critically injured in the accident.
The deceased was identified as Suraiya Begum, daughter of Shah Alam of Senbagh area of Noakhali district. The deceased child came with her family to visit her grandparents in West Noyagram area of Beanibazar municipality.
Locals said that a child named Suraiya Begum was critically injured when a CNG auto-rickshaw collided in front of the Municipal Police Station at around 4:30 pm on Wednesday. Later, locals rescued her and took her to Beanibazar Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared her dead. The driver of the CNG autorickshaw was also critically injured while trying to save the child in the accident.
The name of the injured CNG autorickshaw driver was not known until this report was written.
