After 16 years, the three-year conference of Beanibazar Upazila Awami League will be held tomorrow. All the preparations have already been completed on the occasion of the conference. Surrounding the conference, there is a festive mood among the party leaders, among the leaders.
A large-scale meeting stage has been set up at the North Beanibazar bus stand in the municipality for the conference staff. The first session of the conference will be held at 10a.m. Later, the second session of the conference (council) will be held at 3p.m. at the Yusuf Community Center.
The conference will be inaugurated by Sylhet district Awami League acting president and Zilla Parishad Advocate Lutfur Rahman. Former Awami League presidium member, former education minister Nurul Islam Nahid MP as the chief guest and former MP, Sylhet district Awami League general secretary Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury will be present as the keynote speaker on the council. Central and district leaders will also be present, party sources said.
Abdul Hashib Monia, Ataur Rahman Khan, Nazmul Islam and UP chairman Mahmud Ali as the chairmen of the three-year-old conference of Beanibazar Upazila Awami League and in general secretary posts Zakir Hossain, Harunur Rashid Dipu, Dewan Maksudul Islam Aual, Upazila chairman Abul Kashem Pallab,Vice chairman Jamal Hossain and Awami League leader Selim Ahmed are leading the operation.
